Sea World

A few weeks ago we took a trip to San Diego with our 3 for 1 Passes in hand. These passes allow you to go to Sea World, the Zoo, and Wild Animal Park for 5 consecutive days and let me tell you, we made the most of it. Below are a few photos and videos of our trip. The videos really don't look good so big, but oh well. If you move your cursor to the left side of the pictures you'll be able to see a few comments at the bottom.

Jello Fun

I have never been a big fan of jello, but when I saw this I had to make it. It looks so pretty.

The kids loved it, they thought it was super cool to be able to eat a rainbow. The recipe make a ton so we shared with our neighbors. Our neighbors work in Primary at church with the children between the ages for 3 - 11. The kids sing this song that goes...

Our Primary Colors

Our primary colors are 1, 2, 3, red, yellow, and blue.

Each one has a message for you and me.

Each is a symbol true.

Red is for courage to do what right,

Yellow for service from morning till night.

Blue is for truth in our thought and our deed.

We will be happy when this is our creed.

Words and music by Marzelle Mangum

Which is also Kyle's school's spirit song. Since the jello is made with red, yellow, and blue jello it will be a perfect treat for Primary and Kyle's school. Thank you to the creative lady over at Do Better for this idea.

Cannery

This is a picture of our cannery group from yesterday. The couple on my left is so much fun to be around. The gentleman reminds me so much of my grandfather on my mom's side and his wife is just as sweet as could be. On my right are two of the coolest girls! My Sister Lacey and Jessica help at the cannery almost every month and I couldn't have done this trip without their help. It's so much fun to pull your sleeves up and get some work done when you have such great company to help you out. One of these days I'm going to get a picture of a pyramid of cans that we can, but we were too busy to get one this time. I wonder if there will ever be a non busy cannery trip.
